The VII Championship of Kazakhstan on sports "Chto? Gde? Kogda?" was held in Astana with the support of the AIFC

The VII Championship of Kazakhstan on sports "Chto? Gde? Kogda?" was held in Astana with the support of the AIFC. 

The key partner of the Championship is AIFC Bureau for Continuing Professional Development (www.aifc.edu.kz).

28 teams from Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Pavlodar, and Ust-Kamenogorsk took part in the tournament. During the championship, 72 questions were played in 6 rounds.

IFN CIS Forum 2017 took place in Astana

Today, the Islamic Finance News Forum (IFN) CIS, organized by the "Astana" International Financial Center (AIFC) in partnership with REDmoney Group, was held in Astana.

The key objective of the forum is to stimulate the development of Islamic finance in the CIS countries and explore investment opportunities in the region, as well as to provide participants with the opportunity to establish contacts and partnerships.

CFA Diagnostic Test Results

Today the results of the CFA Diagnostic Test were announced, as a result 15 candidates were chosen to attend the newly launched courses of preparation to CFA exam Level 1. Diagnostic test not only helped to identify the level of knowledge, but the gaps the candidates should work on.

The first group of 15 candidates will be participating preparation classes free of charge, therefore the number of seats to the course is limited, however AIFC Bureau for CPD will share the information and materials with other candidates like:

The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) has partnered with Coursera to train 1,000+ citizens for jobs in the newly created financial centre. AIFC Academy will combine Coursera courses in finance and soft skills with in-person learning opportunities and career support.

ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Kazakhstan is today pleased to announce that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) in Kazakhstan

Today,  ACCA Kazakhstan and Astana International Financial Center Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, according to which from December 2016 both parties will deepen cooperation in the field of investigations and leadership in accounting.

Under the terms of the agreement from December  2016 both parties will deepen and strengthen their cooperative relationship in relation to research and thought leadership in the accounting and audit area.
