THE AIFC ACADEMIC COUNCIL

The AIFC Academic Council was created to ensure the implementation of an academic framework to support the activities of the AIFC through the continuous professional development of personnel of the various AIFC bodies and participants and to create a candidate reserve pool for the AIFC in accordance with best international practices.

The AIFC Academic Council is responsible for:

  • promoting the highest international standards of the organisation of continuous professional development of personnel in the Bureau and AIFC;
  • providing recommendations on the development of academic and training programmes for the AIFC;
  • providing recommendations on the selection, admission, retention and exclusion of participants and students in the BCPD’s academic and training programmes;
  • providing recommendations to the BCPD on the selection of the AIFC academic and training grant winners;
  • providing recommendations on the pricing policy for the BCPD’s academic and training programmes;
  • providing recommendations on the action plan and general work scope of the BCPD;
